Trojans stun Pats

A terrific Lancashire v Yorkshire battle was finally won by the White Rose county in the final eliminator for the National Premier League Grand Final.

Thornhill Trojans overcame Wigan St.Pats to reach the Grand Final on Saturday, 13th May, by 14 points to 19 in a terrific encounter that went into extra time. The Yorkshire club are on course to cap off an excellent season when they meet Yorkshire rivals Oulton at the Batley Bulldogs' Mount Pleasant home on Saturday 20th May.

The Trojans, who also beat pro-club Workington in the Challenge Cup this season, finished fourth in the regular season table, and have had to dispose of East Hull and Oldham St. Annes before playing St.Pats.
