Top five confirmed
4/7/2008
As the NCL Premier League regular season comes to a close the only the last play-off spot is up for grabs.
With only one more game to play East Hull are in the driving seat to win the NCL Premier League minor premiership, as they edge Leigh Miners on points difference. Both have 38 league points and one more home game apiece, but Easts have a better difference by 5. They also have, arguably, the tougher tie this weekend as they entertain Wigan St. Patricks, who are still in the hunt for the final play-off place, currently held by Siddal.
The other 3 positions are held by Skirlaugh, Leigh East and Rochdale Mayfield who will finish 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.

In Division One Wigan St. Judes should go up as Champions, although there is still a mathematical possibility that they could be caught by York Acorn or Wath Brow Hornets.
And in Division Two Normanton Knights are still top by 2 points, but Millom have 2 games in hand.
