Skirlaugh, Leigh East and Wigan St. Patricks all have sixteen points at the top of the NCL Premier League after ten rounds.
Champions Skirlaugh were beaten 22-14 at Oulton Raiders in their midweek catch-up game (due to their involvement in the European Cup Final 3 weeks ago), but bounced back to thrash West Bowling 40-6 on Saturday. Oulton could not keep up the momentum from that midweek win and lost 36-16 to Leigh East, whilst Wigan St. Patricks defeated Hull Dockers 25-16.
Fourth-placed East Hull ran in 10 tries against Eastmoor Dragons, and are only a point behind the leading three teams, whilst last years minor premiers Leigh Miners Rangers are fifth, another point behind on 14. They beat Castleford Panthers 40-17.
Rochdale Mayfield dragged themselves out of the relegation zone with a 30-18 away win over Thornhill Trojans, whilst West Hull beat Siddal 22-6 in an important relegation battle.
In Division One Bradford Dudley Hill are still two points clear at the top whilst in Division Two Normanton Knights go two points clear themselves, as Millom did not have a game.
