In two cracking matches both Skirlaugh and Rochdale Mayfield progress to the Elimination Semi-Final next weekend.
Leigh East took Rochdale Mayfield to extra-time in their knockout semi-final before going down 16-21 at Leigh Sports Village, whilst Skirlaugh ended Siddal's season with a 26-8 victory at Saltend.
Locked at 10-10 going into the final ten minutes Mayfiled thought they'd won it with a 72nd minute penalty, only for Easts to pull one back 2 minutes from time. Mayfield then scored two more tries and drop goal to win the game, with Easts scoring on the final whistle.
In the other game Skirlaugh scored 3 second-half tries to open up a 22 point lead before Siddal snatched a consolation in the dying minutes.
Next weekend, Mayfield and Skirlaugh will square up for the right to play the loser of the Qualifying tie between Leigh Miners and East Hull.
In Division One Wigan St. Judes finally claimed the Division One championship, and in Division Two Normanton won the top-of-the-table clash with Millom who must win both of their remaining games to claim the title.
