Pats ease to early lead

Wigan St. Patricks eased themselves into the top spot of the National Conference Premier League.
A 48-0 whitewash of Shaw Cross Sharks took Pats to the top of the National Conference Premier League on the second Saturday of the 2006/07 season. Their eight tries were shared out amongst seven different players, and were comfortably 26-0 up at the break.
Hull Dockers won the local derby with East Hull to take second position, whilst Eastmoor Dragons and Thornhill Trojans also won to keep their 100% records intact.
Siddal and West Hull fought out a 14 apiece draw, whilst Leigh Miners picked up their first win of the season as they beat Oldham St. Anness 50-6.
