Four point gap opens up

11/19/2007

There is now a four point gap between the top two teams and the rest in the NCL Premier Division, with East Hull a point in front of Leigh Miners Rangers.

But there is a good chance that this gap will close next week as the two teams go head-to-head at Twist Lane (Click here for address and directions) next weekend !
Easts rallied in the second half to overcome Thornhill Trojans, 14-22, whilst John Woods scored 4 tries for the second time this season as Miners beat Oulton Raiders 22-48.

Below them Leigh East, Skirlaugh and Wigan St.Patricks are all on 20 points.
Easts brought West Hulls winning streak to an end (48-12), whilst Siddal surprised Skirlaugh (11-16) on their own turf, and Pats got back to winning ways be beating Eastmoor Dragons, 48-14.

In the other games Hull Dockers left it late to beat the Castleford Panthers, and West Bowlings woes continued as they went down 24-32 to Rochdale Mayfield.

The top three teams at the top of Division One all won, and only a point separates Wath Brow Hornets, Wigan St.Judes and Bradford Dudley HIll.

And its still neck and neck in Division Two, with both Normanton Knights and Millom two points clear of Hull Isberg.
