East Hull were surprised at home to Skirlaugh, losing 18-22, but stay top by a point from Leigh Miners.
The Humberside derby showed that Skirlaugh won't relinquish their NCL Premier League title without a fight, with Jordan Precious on target again with 5 goals.Miners kept up the pressure on Easts with a 12-6 victory over St. Pats, whilst Mayfield announced their claims to a top-six place beating Leigh East, 14-10.Siddal pushed the Thornhill Trojans into deeper relegation trouble with a 22-10 victory, whilst West Bowling kept their survival hopes alive with a 12-33 victory over Castleford Panthers.All hope is virtually gone for Eastmoor Dragons, beaten 0-20 by Oulton Raiders, and adrift at the bottom by 6 points.In the other Humberside derby the Dockers beat Wests 16-24.In Division One York Acorn and Saddleworth Rangers are the new joint leaders, and in Division Two Normanton Knights are still setting the pace.
