Champions stunned by West Hull

Reigning Champions, Oulton Raiders were stunned by newly-promoted West Hull on opening day of season.

West Hull were 8-0 up at the break and even though the Raiders came back at them late in the game, it was last seasons First Division Champions that took the spoils on the first Saturday of the new season.

There were also wins for East Hull, Eastmoor Dragons, Thornhill Trojans, Wigan St. Patricks, Siddal and Hull Dockers as the new season got underway on Saturday.
