It's going to be a tight finish at the top of the NCL Premier League this season, with half a dozen teams taking points off each other and all in with a shout.
East Hull are this weeks leaders having beaten Oulton Raiders by 36-8. But who would bet that they will be there next week in this extremely close competition.Wigan St. Patricks slipped up away to Castleford Panthers, losing 23-18, and dropping to fourth on points difference, whilst both Skirlaugh and Leigh Miners had good wins - away to Eastmoor Dragons and at home to West Bowling respectively - and jump above Pats. All have 18 points.Rochdale Mayfield beat Hull Dockers 38-14 to jump into the final play-off position, just behind Leigh East who lost away to Siddal, 35-28.At the bottom West Hull secured a valuable win over Thornhill Trojans, and both teams are sitting on 10 points with Oulton Raiders. In Division One Dudley Hill got back to winning ways with 28-4 win over St. Annes and go three points clear of the chasing pack.Millom won the top-of-the-table clash with Normanton Knights in Division Two on Saturday, with a 16-10 victory over their nearest rivals and now the only team in the NCL with an unbeaten record.
